Treasury & Economy
Every kingdom is anchored by a Treasury, a physical block placed in the world that stores the kingdom's shared wealth. Emeralds function as the currency of Citadel, used for kingdom progression, upgrades, and expansion.
Beyond kingdom systems, emeralds are also the standard currency for player-to-player trade out in the world.
The Treasury Block
The Treasury is a physical block that must remain placed in the world to function. A few important rules apply:
The Treasury may only be moved by the kingdom ruler.
It cannot be dropped or stored in a player inventory.
Other kingdoms cannot access or interact with it.
Depositing Resources
Emeralds deposited into the Treasury become shared kingdom funds. They cannot be withdrawn for personal use once deposited, so kingdoms should deposit with intent.
Kingdom funds are used to pay for expansion, upgrades, and long-term development through the Progression system.
Accessing the Treasury
Treasury information can be accessed in three ways:
Right-clicking the Treasury block with an empty hand
Using /k treasury
Using /k menu
These interfaces display the kingdom's current funds and financial activity.
