Access & Basics

Rules

Citadel is built around a persistent world, long-term progression, and meaningful player interaction. Actions that damage the world, the experience of others, or the integrity of the server may result in staff intervention.

If something is not explicitly listed but clearly harms the world or other players, staff may act accordingly.

World Integrity

The world of Citadel is persistent and shared.

  • Do not destroy terrain or environments without purpose.

  • Large-scale destruction of biomes is not allowed.

  • Builds outside kingdom borders are not protected.

  • Wilderness builds may be removed by players or staff.

  • Items stored outside claims are at your own risk.

Griefing your own kingdom, including sabotage or theft of shared assets, is not allowed.

Fair Play

Unfair advantages and unintended mechanics are not allowed.

  • Hacked clients, x-ray, combat automation, and unfair mods are prohibited.

  • Exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics is not allowed.

  • Discovered exploits must be reported to staff immediately.

If you are unsure whether a mod is allowed, ask staff before using it.

Kingdom Responsibility

Kingdoms function as sovereign entities.

  • Kingdoms are responsible for managing their own permissions and trust.

  • Staff do not intervene in internal disputes unless rules are broken.

  • Granting access to kingdom resources is done at your own risk.

Items acquired while a member of a kingdom belong to that kingdom. Removing kingdom property without authorization is considered smuggling and will be treated accordingly.

Combat and PvP Integrity

Citadel includes a combat logging system.

  • Logging out to avoid combat is not allowed.

  • Attempting to bypass combat logging is not allowed.

  • Reach a secure location before logging out after combat.

Performance and Server Health

To maintain stability and performance for all players:

  • Automatic or semi-automatic redstone machines are not allowed.

  • Lag machines are prohibited.

  • Autosorters are not allowed.

  • AFK machines or AFK farms are not allowed.

  • Excessive entities or redstone may be removed by staff without warning.

The following farms are allowed within reasonable limits per kingdom:

  • Cactus farms: maximum 1,000 cactus

  • Kelp farms: maximum 250 kelp

  • Lava dripstone farms: maximum 25 lava sources

Communication and Conduct

Citadel aims to maintain a respectful and welcoming environment.

  • Public chat may be English or Dutch.

  • Kingdom and alliance chat may use any language.

  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, and discrimination are not allowed.

  • Excessive spam or disruptive behaviour is not allowed.

Treat other players and staff with respect.

Alt Accounts

Players are expected to play on one account. Using alternate accounts to bypass rules, punishments, or gain unfair advantages is not allowed.

Enforcement

Staff decisions are final. Appeals and questions must be handled through official support channels. Attempting to bypass punishments may result in further action.
